The Faction Studio 2 are the latest iteration of Candide's inspired designs with Faction, even as he is off doing his own thing. The Studio 2 is a directional All mountain twin sporting a 102mm waist with a ton of firm snow performance for a wider twin tip. The Studio is quite a stiff build for a ski with no metal, it's incredibly composed at speed and can be driven from the front of your boots.
When comparing the Studio 2 with the Prodigy 2, the Studio is a poppier and more precise ski. Better for those who want to ski fast and carve harder, whereas the Prodigy is more playful for those wanting to butter around in the park.
We skied this ski in La Clusaz in January 2024 and came away impressed with how stable the Studio 2 is. If you are trying to combine a ski that rips piste, park and cruddy off piste conditions the Studio 2 is worth a look.
